That date can't possibly be right!

I probably fall into the category of the world's worst blogger ever! I seriously haven't blogged here since October?! Yowsa!
So that whole Pfizer thing didn't pan out at all. They closed the St. Louis site, so pretty much everyone there lost jobs. It was really bad for some people who had spent most of their careers at that company. Oddly enough, I wasn't too nervous through the whole thing. I knew God would open the right door for my family, and wouldn't you know it, he did!
My last day at Pfizer was December 23, and on January 4, I started as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University School of Medicine. Although it's been slow getting the research going, the lab is wonderful. The people are great, and the project is extremely interesting. I do miss my friends at Pfizer, and the corporate atmosphere, but obviously this is where I'm supposed to be now.
Nothing too exciting has happened as far as Bob and I are concerned. We have done a few more home improvement projects and have some others planned for the near future. Our goal is to be able to put the house on the market this summer and move a little closer to work. Our commute currently sucks the big one! The dogs are still tormenting us on a regular basis.
Hopefully I will one day get the hang of posting here regularly. Probably not though! I have some fun things coming up, so I'll try to remember to share them.
