We will be spending today with lots of friends and family, giving gifts, sharing stories and eating lots of food. However, this year's celebration will be a little bit quieter (and probably calmer!) because my brother Ben won't be home from Afghanistan.
We were lucky to have him back on leave last year, but his tour will be ending in May. So today, as you unwrap your gifts and spend time with your loved ones, please take a minute to remember those who won't be doing the same because they are doing a job that many of us can't or won't do.
