Happy Halloween!

Wow. So it has been a long time since I've made a post! Life has been a little crazy around here.
I'm currently working on my dissertation with the hope of graduating in May. Unfortunately I don't feel like I'm making much progress. Part of the reason is that I keep getting interrupted to work on other things. I was helping Geeta with her research proposal, and now I am working on my poster for the Neuroscience 2008 Conference in two weeks.
In addition to my work stuff, Bob has been doing some soul searching. He recently decided that he should goto Seminary to be a minister. For anyone who really knows him, it didn't come as much of a surprise. What they all did find interesting was the fact that I will be a pastor's wife! Anyway ... now we are trying to find a seminary for him in an area where I have a good chance of finding a job. It's not been terribly easy, but we are working on it.
Aside from all of that, we have just been keeping on with all our other duties. The Sunday School class that we teach is going well, but we have had some struggles with the youth group. It can be very frustrating for us sometimes, but we just pray that we do our best to serve the Lord in spite of everything.
So on a lighter note, we dressed Schlafly up for Halloween this morning. She is former L.A. Dodger's pitcher Hideo Nomo. Champ is running around in his Mark Bulger jersey, and Hunter is fancy in his white bowtie.

Congrats to Bob! That's a big decision. I hope you find a place that's great for both of you (and not too far away!). I think you'll make a good preacher's wife! :) btw, your pup is cute!
